Cu Chi Tunnel - HCM City Full Day
Cu Chi Tunnels, also called Iron Land, is a huge system of underground tunnels which stretched over 250 km. The network was like a secret city to supported war: storage facilities, weapons factories, field hospitals, also included specially constructed living areas, command centers and innumerable of nightmare trap doors to defend itself. Today Cu Chi Tunnels have become a major attraction giving tourists a unique experience, truly feeling of what underground life and the strong Spirit of all Vietnamese who died for mother land.
We leaving Ho Chi Minh City around 08:00. Arrival Cu Chi Tunnels after 02 hours trip through beauty landscape of country side, we watch a short introductory video showing how Cu Chi Tunnels were constructed before entering, then spend the next hour exploring the maze of tunnels. After delicious Vietnamese lunch, we drive back to Ho Chi Minh City arriving at approximately 13:00.
Start your city tour with The Reunification Palace, used to be residence of the President of the Republic of Vietnam. In 30 April 1975, the when North Vietnam soldier set foot inside this building with red flag on hand, the whole world knew that Vietnam war was end. Next stop is War Remnants Museum, on the way stop to visit Notre Dame Cathedral and Old Post Office, 02 most famous and oldest of classical French colonial architecture construction was built more than 100 years ago. War Remnants Museum with many photographs are from both Vietnam and US sources; US military vehicle like tanks, jet, booms display outside. Before tour ends, stop over for shopping at Ben Thanh Market in city center.
