Bat Trang, a small village in the north of Vietnam. Bát Tràng pottery is a type of ceramics made in the village of Bát Tràng, in the suburban outskirts of the northern Vietnamese city of Hanoi,Vietnam. The village is located in an area rich in clay suitable for making fine ceramic. Bát Tràng ceramics are considered some of the best known porcelain products in Vietnam besides those of Chu Đậu, Đồng Nai and Ninh Thuận.

Begin your biking day tour along the Red River, go along the Long Bien Bridge was one of the greatest engineering accomplishments of the French colony and a showpiece of colonial infrastructure.
After crossing the Red River, you continue riding along the dyke for some kilometers before joining a small biking trail that furrows among pop corn, vegetable, and fruit gardens. You mostly cycle on the back roads amidst the wild nature. Passing the villages, you can see a lush green rice fields, cornfields, vegetable and fruit plantation areas. This is the biggest vegetable and herbs area of Hanoi. Visitors also see kumquat fruits, grape fruits and peach flower blossom here. We will ride through banana farm, fruit farm. We will be surprised of a green forest surrounding busy Capital.
After about two – three hour cycling, you arrive in Bat Trang village, a small village in the north of Việt Nam on the other side of the Red River. The village is famous for ceramic and pottery products of high quality.
12:30 PM: Lunch will be served in a local restaurant.
After lunch, you will have a short walk to visit the village, discovering the village ceramic market, the Bat Trang temple, Bat Trang communal house. Explore the real life as you walk through tiny alleys that furrow continuously right and left.
Before taking the ride back, you stop by a local workshop where you learn all the steps of making a pottery. Then we enjoy two more hour cycling back to Hanoi.
